Chili Cheese Mushroom


Ingredients
Button Mushroom- 200-250 gm
Butter- 1.5 tbsp
Garlic- 1tbps, finely chopped
Basil leaves- 6-8 (or coriander leaves as a substitute)
Chili Oil- 1 tbsp (adjust to taste)
Cheese- 0.5 cup, grated (mozzarella or processed cheese for best melt)
Salt- to taste
Black Pepper- to taste (optional)
Method
Wash the mushrooms thoroughly and pat them dry
Heat butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the whole mushrooms and sauté for a few minutes until they soften and release moisture.
Add the chopped garlic and sauté until fragrant, ensuring it does not burn.
Add basil leaves (or coriander leaves if basil is unavailable) and mix well.
Drizzle in the chilli oil and sauté until the mushrooms are well coated and lightly fried.
Season with salt and black pepper if required.
Lower the flame, add the grated cheese generously, and cover the pan with a lid.
Let it cook on low heat until the cheese melts and turn gooey.
Serve hot as as appetizer or side dish.
Garlic Sauteed Button Mushrooms


Ingredients
Button mushrooms- 200 gm
Olive oil- 1tbps
Garlic (chopped)- 4 cloves
Black pepper-0.5 tbsp
Salt- to taste
Lemon juice- 1tbsp
Fresh parsley / coriander- optional
Recipe
Clean and slice mushrooms.
Heat olive oil in a pan
Add garlic, sauté till light golden
Add mushrooms, cook on high flames 5-6 minutes
Add salt, pepper and lemon juice
Garnish and serve hot
Mushroom & Vegetable Stir Fry


Ingredients
Button mushrooms- 200 gm
Capsicum- 1/2 cup
Broccoli / beans- 1/2 cup
Onion- 1 small (optional)
Soy sauce- 1tbsp
Olive oil / sesame oil- 1 tbsp
Black pepper- 1/2 tbsp
Recipe
Heat oil in a pan
Add onion (optional), sauté lightly
Add vegetables, stir fry on high heat
Add mushrooms, cook 4-5 minutes
Add soy sauce and pepper
Toss well and serve
Mushroom Soup


Ingredients
Button mushrooms- 200 gm
Onion- 1 small
Garlic- 3 cloves
Olive oil / butter- 1 tbsp
Vegetable stock / water- 2 cups
Black pepper- 1/2 tbsp
Salt- to taste
Milk (optional)- 1/4 cup
Recipe
Sauté onion and garlic in oil
Add chopped mushrooms, cook till soft
Add stock and boil 8-10 minutes
Blend smoothly
Add salt, pepper, and milk (optional)
Simmer 2 minutes and serve hot
Mushroom Masala


Ingredients
Button mushrooms- 250 gm
Onion- 1 large
Tomato- 2 medium
Ginger-garlic paste- 1tbsp
Oil- 1tbsp
Turmeric- 1/4 tbsp
Coriander powder- 1 tbsp
Garam masala- 1/2 tbsp
Salt- to taste
Recipe
Make onion-tomato paste
Heat oil, add paste and spices
Cook till oil separates
Add mushrooms, cook 7-8 minutes
Add little water if needed
Finish with garam masala
